Lead and mentor a team of production support engineers, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
- Oversee monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of complex production issues in Java-based applications.
- Own the incident management process, including escalation, communication, and post-mortem analysis.
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure implementation of permanent fixes for recurring problems.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to deploy hotfixes and enhancements.
- Ensure robust monitoring, alerting, and logging using tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, and Dynatrace.
- Manage on-call rotations, incident bridges, and stakeholder communications during critical outages.
- Review and optimize performance testing and validation using JMeter.
- Oversee support and troubleshooting of messaging systems such as Apache Kafka.
- Maintain documentation of support procedures, known issues, and resolution steps.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, change management, and incident response protocols.
- Champion best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
- Identify and drive process improvements for production support operations.
Required Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle SQL/PLSQL and performance tuning.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
- Experience with application servers (WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss).
- Deep expertise in Splunk, JMeter, and Kafka.
- Strong understanding of incident management, change control, and ITIL processes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Competencies
Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
