Sybase/MySQL Database Administrator (DBA)

 

PRIMARY_SKILL: Sybase Database Administration

 

SECONDARY_SKILL: MySQL Database Administration on Linux

 

Position Summary: Database Security Patch Engineer with expertise in Sybase/MySQL administration, Linux platforms, security patch deployment, vulnerability remediation, and automation using Bash/Python scripting.

 

REQUIRED_SKILL: Sybase DBA, MySQL DBA, Linux Administration, Security Patch Management, Database Patching & Upgrades, Vulnerability Remediation, Patch Testing & Validation, Vendor Coordination, Troubleshooting, Documentation, Compliance Management, Production Support.

 

DESIRED_SKILL: 5+ years of Sybase and MySQL administration experience on Linux, familiarity with vulnerability management tools and processes, scripting/automation using Bash or Python, strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication skills, and experience with security compliance and operational best practices.
Mandatory Skills: SYBASE Database Admin .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
