Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to support process delivery by ensuring daily performance of the Production Specialists, resolve technical escalations and develop technical capability within the Production Specialists.

Required skill:

The ability to write and run Structure Query language (SQL)

The ability to write and run an AS400 Query (Query Management)

The ability to Setup and make changes within the Robot Job Scheduler

The ability to read a dump and understand what caused the failure

The ability to use Microsoft Excel to transfer data to and from the AS400 (ODBC)

The ability to edit and view files using the DBU utility

Knowledge of how to use NDM (Network Data Movement) and read the statistics on the AS400

The ability to work with Developers and Lines of Business

The ability to Lead and Develop Detail Testing Senarios

Must be a Self Starter and a quick learner and be able to work with little supervision

Must have some understanding of DB2 files and multiple member files

Must show confidence, take the lead and be willing to make decisions

Desired skill:

The ability to read with a general level of understanding Report Program Generator (RPG)/FREE code and Control Language (CL) code 

A general understanding of AS400 Security and how it works

A general understanding of Web Applications

A general understanding of LINUX

The ability to use remote access tools to connect to LINUX systems

The ability to navigate LINUX file systems 

The ability to view and analize application log files

A general understanding of Oracle and SQL databases

The ability to use remote access tools to connect to Oracle or SQL databases

The ability to form and or execute SQL statements

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
