Role: Release Manager (Tools Consultant)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional as a Release Manager. Experience as a Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer is desirable. This individual will possess strong leadership skills and be extremely proficient in using JIRA, Excel, and managing release processes, testing support, and end-to-end release coordination.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Release Management: Oversee and manage the entire release process, ensuring timely and successful deployment of software releases. Coordinate testing support and end-to-end release activities.
- Leadership and Team Coordination: Lead and orchestrate multiple project teams and work streams to meet release deadlines. Facilitate team planning ceremonies against release milestones and ensure effective communication across teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and engage key stakeholders to facilitate progress and resolution. Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Understand release and deployment components, identify risks, and implement necessary controls to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and procedures.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for release management. Understand the big picture and connect all details to ensure seamless execution.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate strong working knowledge of BMC Remedy, JIRA, and Excel. Utilize experience in Agile tools and frameworks to manage projects effectively.
- Problem Solving: Exhibit intellectual curiosity and a tenacious attitude to solve complex problems. Execute tasks assertively and with limited direction.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver under pressure. Adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
Desired Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of BMC Remedy, JIRA, and Excel.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Proficiency in release processes, testing support, and end-to-end release coordination.
- Ability to understand release/deployment components and mitigate risks.
- Capability to facilitate team planning ceremonies and answer Agile/waterfall framework questions.

Experience: 5-8 Years .
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
