Job Description: 

Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Primary Focus: AWS security, IAM, authorization, cloud security controls, infrastructure security, API security, and implementation of security architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Implement authentication and authorization capabilities using AWS Cognito, Amazon Verified Permissions, and VPC Lattice.
  • Implement and maintain API security controls, including schema validation, traffic inspection, WAF configuration, and service-to-service security.
  • Configure and maintain encryption at rest, encryption in transit, tokenization, and other data protection mechanisms.
  • Implement secure session management, SSO integrations, and machine-to-machine authentication patterns.
  • Support privileged access management and centralized authorization frameworks.
  • Implement logging, audit controls, telemetry protection, and immutable audit storage requirements.
  • Support vulnerability management, cloud security posture improvements, and compliance initiatives.
  • Work closely with application and platform teams to ensure security controls are consistently implemented.
