Job Description – OAS Developer (Oracle Analytics Server)

Role Summary
Having strong experience in BI reporting, semantic modeling, and dashboard development. The candidate will be responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting analytics solutions using OAS.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain OAS dashboards, reports, and KPIs based on business requirements.
Design and manage RPD (Repository) including logical/dimensional modeling, measures, hierarchies, and subject areas.
Create and optimize data visualizations and analytical dashboards.
Perform data modeling and SQL query development for reporting needs.
Implement security models (roles, permissions, row-level security).
Optimize performance through query tuning, caching, and aggregate tables.
Handle deployment and migration across environments (DEV, UAT, PROD).
Troubleshoot issues related to reports, data accuracy, and performance.
Coordinate with business stakeholders and technical teams for requirement gathering and delivery.
Document solutions, processes, and best practices.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience in Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) / OBIEE.
Strong expertise in RPD/Semantic Layer modeling.
Strong SQL skills and database knowledge.
Experience in dashboard and report development.
Experience with security implementation in OAS.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.


Preferred Skills

Experience in OAS migration (OBIEE to OAS).
Exposure to Oracle Data Visualization (DV).
Knowledge of ETL tools (ODI, Informatica, ADF, etc.).
Basic understanding of WebLogic / OAS Administration.
Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD).
