Job Description: ESB Senior Developer (Banking Domain)
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Senior Developer with strong expertise in Message Broker technologies to join our banking technology team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration solutions that enable secure, reliable, and scalable communication across core banking systems, payment platforms, and regulatory interfaces.

Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of ESB development experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Hands-on expertise with Message Broker technologies (IBM MQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
- Proficiency in Java, JMS, XML, JSON, REST, SOAP.
- Experience with integration patterns (publish/subscribe, request/reply, guaranteed delivery).
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards (PCI-DSS, data encryption, authentication/authorization).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in high-volume transaction environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of cloud-native integration platforms (Azure Service Bus, AWS SQS/SNS, GCP Pub/Sub) in banking contexts.
- Prior experience mentoring or leading small integration teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement integration solutions using ESB and Message Broker platforms tailored for banking applications.
- Develop and optimize message flows for real-time transaction processing, payment gateways, and regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with business analysts and architects to translate banking requirements into technical designs.
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and security in integration solutions to meet banking standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to transaction routing, message transformation, and system connectivity.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for ESB/message broker components to ensure compliance with banking SLAs.
- Mentor junior developers and enforce best practices in secure integration development.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including core banking, payments, risk, and compliance units.
