Job Description: 

ETL Testing

Band - B2/B3

Location - Chennai , Hyderabad

Experience – 5yrs to 12yrs

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements/stories.
  • Execute manual test cases and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Work across different phases of testing including DEV, SIT, and UAT cycles.
  • Identify, log, and track defects and ensure closure through defect lifecycle management.
  • Provide daily status updates and test progress reports.
  • Collaborate with development and business teams to resolve data issues.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong experience in ETL Testing and data validation.
  • Expertise in SQL query writing for backend testing.
  • Hands-on experience with TOAD or similar database tools.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in test case design, execution, and defect management.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA for defect tracking.
