The purpose of this role is to analyse, identify, rectify & recommend specific improvement measures that help in the security posture of the organization by protecting the sensitive information

Job Description :
- Must have hands on experience in design, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of F5 BIG-IP systems including modules such as
· LTM, GTM
· BIG IP DNS
· BIG IP Advanced Firewall Manager
- Good to have hands on experience in configuration and maintenance of Palo Alto Next Generation Firewalls
Key responsibilities:
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting for F5 BIG-IP systems.
- Configure and manage F5 appliances and virtual instances.
- Design and implement traffic management policies, iRules, SSL offloading, health monitors, and virtual servers.
- Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to optimize service delivery.
- Perform software upgrades, patches, and system backups.
- Monitor system performance and conduct capacity planning.
- Ensure compliance with security standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP).
- Support disaster recovery and high availability configurations.
- Analyze logs and conduct root cause analysis for traffic flow issues
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in F5 modules: LTM, GTM/DNS, DNS and AFM
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, SSL/TLS, SNMP, and Layer 3-7 protocols.
- Experience with iRules and Traffic Policies.
- Familiarity with SSO/MFA integrations (e.g., SAML, OAuth).
- Hands-on experience with HA clustering and firmware management for F5 Virtual Edition LBs
- Exposure to Zero Trust architecture is a plus
- Tools: F5, PAN
Additional Requirements:
- Daily Health Checks of Firewall & Load Balancers (such as Performance Statics and Alerts).
- Take Weekly Backup on Every Sundays.
- Work on Service Now Requests - Tasks, Request Items, Change Requests
- Present Changes in Pre-CAB and Pre & Post change implementation, update those in Daily Huddle.
- Update Daily Change Tracker
- Coordinate & Update Weekly & Bi-Weekly Delivery Updates.
- Update the Management Tasks, Symetra Team Details & SOPs.
