Job Description

Role Purpose

Design, build, and deploy integration flows using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE/IIB) within CP4I.

Develop and configure Kafka producers, consumers, and streams for real-time messaging and data processing.

Implement message transformations, routing, enrichment, and orchestration using App Connect

Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and application teams to understand integration requirements.

Troubleshoot, optimize, and support production integration flows.

Create technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to operations/support teams.

 

Required Skills & Experience

3–6+ years of hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE/IIB).

Strong experience working with IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I) on OpenShift/Kubernetes.

Solid knowledge of Apache Kafka (event-driven architecture, schema registry, topics, partitions, producers/consumers).

Experience with REST, SOAP, MQ, JDBC, FTP, and file-based integrations.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps tools for integration deployments.

Good understanding of containerized applications, Helm charts, Operators, and CP4I deployment best practices.

Proficiency in JSON, XML, XSLT, Java, ESQL, and mapping tools.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in Agile/DevOps teams.
