Mandatory skills - Oracle RAC, Oracle HA, Oracle Golden gate, Data guard , Oracle 19c/12c/11g 

 

Description:

Senior Database Administrator responsible for deployment and support administration tasks including proactive monitoring, troubleshooting,  backup, recovery, and on-call support to ensure availability and performance requirements are achieved to support mission-critical Oracle databases.

Skill Set: 

 

  • Experience in database administration with Oracle 19c/12c/11g preferably in a large-scale infrastructure environment
  • Database migration / upgrade 
  • Hands-on Experience in Oracle RAC, Oracle HA, Oracle Golden gate, Data guard 
  • Experience in Performance tuning 
  • Design, configure, test, and support high-availability clustering utilizing Oracle technologies
  • Knowledge in oracle database upgrades, Oracle RUs 
  • Good verbal and written skills with excellent attention to customer service

  • Shell scripting, python 
  • Automation of build and migration of Oracle databases.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  1. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
  2. Perform database installations, migrations, patches, and upgrades
  3. Implement problem detection and prevention strategies to reduce database issues and improve service quality
  1. Perform production support administration tasks including proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, tracing, backup, recovery, and on-call support to ensure availability and performance requirements are achieved
