Years of experience - 10 + years

Mandatory skills -  Routing & Switching, LAN, WAN and DC experience - minimum 8 years.

Location- Chennai/Bangalore. 

Rates including mark up - 100 K/M - 110 K/M

                Different ways of connecting two or more switches

Routing:

                OSPF:

                                Different between E1 and E2 routes

                BGP:

                                

                                Different types of attributes

                                How to avoid asymmetric routing

                                Best path selection

LAN & WAN:

                                Trouble shooting if there is any L2 loop

                                Steps involved to replace a faulty switch or router

                                Process to be followed to deploy a new network device

                                If there is any application slowness how it will be fixed if it is network related issue

                                What will happen if there is a packet drop for 2 % in a wan link

                                Involved in HLD, LLD, ITIL process

  • Demonstrate an expert understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP and Ethernet protocols
  • Expert design knowledge of IP based networking architecture
  • Understanding of DNS, DHCP and IPAM
  • Experience configuring Versa hardware.
  • Deep expertise, understanding and knowledge of Infrastructure Network and Security – Routing and Switching, Firewalls, Load Balancers.
  • Strong hands-on experience on Cisco Network Hardware like Cisco Nexus switches, Classic switches, Cisco and Juniper firewalls.
  • Proven experience in working on large scale project.
  • Planning, coordination and execution of assigned network delivery project
  • Perform coordination with internal/external vendor, internal bank personnel and other stakeholder for matter relating to network delivery
  • Ensure compliance on work carried out against the bank standard, process and control
  • Perform documentation, knowledge transfer and handover to operation team
  • Excellent communication and co-ordination skills
