Job Description
Messaging technical lead providing technical input into the Integration project
· Experience and understanding of O365 technologies and interaction with on-prem platforms
· Currently supporting messaging end to end migrations for different domain
· Optimising and refining message migration and capacity improvements
· Expanding migration process to cover GCM & APAC
· Escalation point for messaging related issues during migrations
· Weekly ongoing discovery, analysis and reporting tasks
· Migration of user and shared mailboxes
· Provide 3rd line messaging support for the technical support team
· Where required raise the appropriate Change Governance to support migration activities
· Proficiency in Powershell scripting as a skill requirement
Responsibilities:
· Support and maintain Exchange Server 2016 Hybrid environment integrated with Exchange Online (L3 level)
· Perform patching, maintenance, and health monitoring of on-prem Exchange servers
· Administer and manage Microsoft 365 workloads including: (L3 level)
· Exchange Online
· Microsoft Teams
· SharePoint Online
· Handle day-to-day incidents and service requests related to: (L2 level)
· Outlook (desktop, web, and mobile)
· Microsoft Teams (chat, meetings, calling)
· SharePoint and OneDrive access/sync issues
· Troubleshoot hybrid mail flow, mail delivery, authentication, and client connectivity issues
· Manage and support Cisco IronPort (Email Security Appliance): (L2 level)
· Spam, malware, phishing protection
· Mail flow rules, policies, and troubleshooting
· Coordinate with Microsoft support and internal teams for complex issues and escalations
· Follow ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management
· Ensure service availability, security compliance, and SLA adherence
· Participate in ongoing improvements, documentation, and knowledge sharing
Skills required:
· Exchange Server 2016 (Hybrid)
