Senior Microsoft Fabric Implementation Architect

Role Overview

The Senior Microsoft Fabric Implementation Architect is entrusted with leading the design, implementation, and continuous optimization of enterprise-grade data and analytics platforms powered by Microsoft Fabric. This role functions as a senior technical authority, collaborating extensively with client stakeholders, architects, data engineers, and information security teams to ensure solutions meet stringent requirements around scalability, security, performance, and business relevance.

Responsibilities encompass end-to-end oversight of solution delivery from initial architecture conception through to operational readiness, including the configuration of platform components, seamless integration with diverse upstream and downstream systems, and rigorous adherence to governance frameworks.

The architect will provide hands-on leadership in crafting architectures that incorporate Microsoft Fabric’s suite—such as OneLake, Lakehouses, Warehouses, data pipelines, and real-time analytics modules—ensuring these components work cohesively to satisfy complex data processing and analytical demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of Microsoft Fabric solutions, including the deployment and management of OneLake, Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, sophisticated Data Pipelines, and Real-Time Analytics platforms to drive impactful business insights.
• Develop and document reference architectures, design patterns, and industry-leading best practices to standardize and optimize Microsoft Fabric deployments across enterprise projects.
• Architect and guide data ingestion, transformation, and modeling strategies addressing both structured and unstructured data sources to create resilient and scalable data ecosystems.
• Collaborate closely with security, compliance, and governance teams to embed robust data protection, stringent access controls, and comprehensive compliance mechanisms within all Fabric implementations.
• Provide expert technical leadership and mentorship to delivery teams, contributing to team development, quality assurance, and seamless rollout during build and deployment phases.
• Facilitate technical discussions with senior client stakeholders, translating complex business challenges into effective data architecture solutions.
• Ensure continuous improvement and innovation in platform capabilities by staying abreast of Microsoft Fabric advancements and relevant emerging technologies.

Mandatory Skills

• Comprehensive expertise in Microsoft Fabric architecture and components, including OneLake, Lakehouses, Warehouses, data pipelines, and real-time analytics engines.
• Proficient in Azure data services ecosystem integrations and Power BI reporting to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable, secure, governed enterprise data platforms meeting complex regulatory and business requirements.
• Strong ability to lead technical strategy discussions with senior stakeholders and guide multi-disciplinary delivery teams.
• Excellent documentation skills, with experience producing detailed solution designs, governance artifacts, and deployment frameworks.
