POSITION SUMMARY͏
The Pricing & Planning Executive is responsible for pricing governance, inventory planning, proposal development, and revenue integrity across national, local, programmatic, sponsorship, barter, and investment advertising deals. This role serves as a central partner to Sales, Research, Finance, Campaign Management, Marketing, and Programmatic teams to ensure proposals are feasible, priced appropriately, approved correctly, and executed in alignment with inventory availability and revenue objectives.
This position operates in a high-volume, seasonal environment and plays a critical role in protecting downstream revenue recognition, measurement feasibility, and inventory yield. The successful candidate combines strong analytical skills with operational rigor, cross-functional collaboration, and sound business judgment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS͏

Proposal Creation & Pricing Governance
- Own end-to-end proposal creation workflow for national, local, programmatic, sponsorship, barter, and investment deals, aligned to defined SLAs and seasonal volume.
- Review detailed inventory availability by SOAP, weeks, ratings, circuit limitations, and marketplace constraints to determine proposal feasibility.
- Coordinate measurement feasibility checks with Research for applicable proposals.
- Input proposals into the Order Management platform, export client-facing proposals, and format materials to Sales preferences.
- Secure required approvals from Sales leadership, Planning management, Finance, and other stakeholders as applicable.
Programmatic & Marketplace Planning
- Support Programmatic Guaranteed and PMP proposal workflows, including theater list requests, feasibility analysis, and proposal setup.
- Coordinate deal setup handoffs with Programmatic Ad Operations for Deal ID creation and tracking.
- Review and validate programmatic proposal components for technical accuracy, pricing, and deliverability.
- Support SSP-specific PMP and open exchange processes as required.
Closed Deal Processing & Revenue Integrity (RTP)
- Execute closed deal (RTP) processes including proposal adjustments, inventory tracker updates, and closed deal notifications.
- File client-facing and internal proposal documentation to support revenue recognition and audit requirements.
- Ensure the correct proposal version is marked as won and used for all downstream shifts to preserve data integrity.
- Capture qualitative and quantitative deal details for Book of Business and trend analysis.
PREFERRED / NICE-TO-HAVE RESPONSIBILITIES͏
- Assign planners in CRM and RTP workflows and perform management-level proposal reviews.
- Develop deal pricing and terms in close coordination with Sales across all deal types.
- Facilitate kickoff calls for upfronts and complex deals.
- Maintain agency-level pricing portals, best practices documentation, and category tools.
- Participate in SSP onboarding projects, PX/Vistar RFP processes, and DOOH partnerships.
- Support team management activities including task assignment, knowledge management, and performance development.
QUALIFICATIONS͏
- Strong analytical, pricing, and inventory planning skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage high proposal volumes in a deadline-driven, seasonal environment.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with CRM and Order Management platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
