SAP BPC Job Description (12+ Years Experience)

Role Summary

  • SAP BPC Lead Consultant with 12+ years of experience in SAP BPC Planning & Consolidation, including end-to-end implementations and AMS/Support projects. Strong expertise in production support, enhancements, performance optimization, and stakeholder management across global environments.
  • Implementation & Enhancement Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end SAP BPC implementations (Blueprint, Build, Test, Deploy)
  • Design scalable Planning & Consolidation models
  • Develop Script Logic, Business Rules, FOX (Embedded), and Data Manager Packages
  • Implement currency translation, intercompany eliminations, ownership management
  • Design input templates, reports, and dashboards using EPM Add-in / Analysis for Office

  • Integrate SAP BPC with ECC / S4HANA / BW
  • Handle UAT, cutover, and go-live support
  • Prepare functional and technical documentation
  • Mentor junior consultants and lead offshore teams
  • Support / AMS Project Roles & Responsibilities
  • Act as primary support lead for SAP BPC production environments
  • Handle L2/L3 support tickets related to:
  • Data load failures
  • Script logic & business rule issues
  • Consolidation & currency translation errors
  • EPM report/input template issues
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide permanent fixes
  • Monitor and resolve performance issues during planning & month-end close cycles
  • Manage month-end / quarter-end / year-end close support
  • Handle user issues, validations, and data reconciliation
