Job Description

Primary Skills  (Must Have) : HP Nimble/ Alletra Storage and brocade SAN switches

o             Secondary Skills : Isilon

Experience

•              4–7 years of hands-on experience with enterprise storage technologies, including: 

o             EMC XtremeIO

o             EMC Isilon / PowerScale

o             HP Nimble

o             Alletra Storage

o             EMC Data Domain

o             Oracle ZFS

o             Brocade SAN Switches

Role & Responsibilities

•              Provide 24x7 operational support for storage infrastructure and be available for on-call rotations as required.

•              Troubleshoot and resolve complex storage-related incidents with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•              Handle hardware troubleshooting and coordinate effectively with OEM/vendors for issue resolution and escalations.

•              Act as the first point of escalation for all technical and process-related issues within the storage domain.

•              Provide subject matter expertise (SME) support to internal teams and stakeholders when required.

•              Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for major incidents and ensure preventive and corrective actions are implemented.

•              Adhere to defined quality, security, and compliance processes for the engagement.

•              Ensure clear, timely, and effective communication during incidents and operational activities.

•              Act as a crisis manager, driving quick and efficient resolution during high-severity incidents.

•              Plan and schedule changes and maintenance activities, coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

•              Contribute to service improvement initiatives, effort estimation, and reviews for new or transition projects.

•              Develop and support automation initiatives, including scripting to improve operational efficiency.

•              Ensure continuous knowledge acquisition, documentation updates, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills

•              Strong expertise in enterprise storage and SAN technologies

•              Good knowledge of scripting and automation

•              Experience in vendor management and escalation handling

 

Mandatory Skills: Cloud Storage .

 

Experience: 3-5 Years .
