Desktop Support

Chicago, IL

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing company and multi-vendor systems which include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems.
  • Break fix replacement (follow break fix SOP)
  • Diagnose and resolve various hardware performance issues, make decisions when appropriate related to replacing existing user workstation equipment and carry out the entire product replacement process, including the removal of existing IT assets as well as the implementation of new IT assets.
  • New Hire Hardware preparation – OSD deployment (Imaging)
  • Receiving of new assets and preparation of the document to add those assets in ServiceNow

 

Requirements

3 – 5+ years of experience of working in IT Service Center. Experience in the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of IT assets (Laptops, Desktops, Peripherals)

Education - associate degree

Working knowledge of Apple-MAC operating systems and devices installation

Working knowledge of Service Now ticketing system
Mandatory Skills: Desktop Support .

 

Experience: 1-3 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $37,500 to $83,600 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
