Job Description
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services using Java 17+,Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Architect and implement Microservices-based solutions and ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
• Deploy and manage applications on Azure Cloud using services like App Services, AKS, Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps, etc.
• Implement RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and event-driven architectures.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and QA to deliver quality software following Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Monitor applications in production using App Insights, Prometheus/Grafana, ELKStack, etc.
• Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews.

 

Required Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in Java development with strong OOP concepts and design patterns.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security.
• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and API Gateway concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services, especially:- Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions- Azure Cosmos DB / SQL / Blob Storage and Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cosmos DB).
• Exposure to unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and code quality tools (SonarQube, Checkstyle).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Mandatory Skills: Core Java .

 

Experience: 8-10 Years .

 

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
