Reporting to the Global Managing Partner for Healthcare & Life Sciences, this role leads the Americas consulting P&L, building and managing CXO relationships across Big Pharma, emerging biotech’s, and CDMOs. The focus: originating boardroom advisory work that translates into technology, engineering, and BPO programs.

Supported by 230,000 technologists and proprietary AI accelerators, you will launch signature IP—such as the Molecule-to-Market Agility Index, diabetes care platforms, and BioPharma AI agents—positioning Wipro as the partner of choice for Life Sciences leaders.
Success is measured by:
- Impact: Faster trial cycles, first-pass regulatory approvals, and >150 bps margin expansion.
- Growth: $10M+ new consulting revenue per year, $100M+ pull-through across tech and BPO.
- Eminence: Top-tier analyst rankings, talent development, and thought leadership.
This is a unique opportunity to reshape drug development economics across the Americas.
Action: Key Responsibilities
- Drive Regional Growth: Identify new opportunities, craft C-suite narratives, and close $10M+ advisory bookings annually, anchoring $100M+ in tech/BPO follow-ons.
- Advise C-Suites: Serve as a board-level advisor on AI-enabled discovery, adaptive trials, and resilient supply chains, translating vision into actionable roadmaps.
- Steer Mega Programs: Oversee digital lab rollouts, eTMF digitization, and smart plant-twin initiatives, delivering measurable business benefits and CSAT >4.8/5.
- Create IP & Ventures: Develop benchmarks, data products, and scale solution ventures with standalone P&Ls.
- Amplify Leadership: Publish 3–4 flagship POVs annually, keynote major forums, and secure analyst citations to elevate Wipro’s brand.
- Build Talent: Recruit, mentor, and sponsor a diverse team, fostering a psychologically safe, high-performance culture.
- Forge Alliances: Build strategic partnerships with CROs, CDMOs, cloud/hyperscaler labs, and regulators to co-create market offerings.
- Own P&L: Manage full consulting P&L for assigned accounts, drive forecast accuracy, safeguard margins, and reinvest in growth.
- Govern Practice: Shape investment roadmaps, prioritize solution backlogs, and promote agile ways of working globally.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 15+ years in top-tier strategy or Big-4 advisory, with 10+ years in Life Sciences/BioPharma leadership in the Americas.
- Deep CEO/CTO networks across pharma R&D, clinical quality, supply chain, and manufacturing.
- Proven commercial track record: $150M+ cumulative advisory revenue, skilled in executive negotiations.
- Mastery of discovery-to-commercialization, global regulatory pathways (FDA, EMA, PMDA), and pharmacovigilance.
- Experience overseeing multi-tower programs impacting 50+ assets or 100+ manufacturing lines and $1B+ spend.
- Inclusive leadership, entrepreneurial drive, tech fluency (cloud, GenAI, digital twins, cybersecurity, GxP digital-thread), and academic rigor (PhD, MBA, or biomedical engineering from a top institution).
