Job Description

 We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Automation Engineer to join our 
Cloud & Infrastructure Managed Services team.  
▪ This individual contributor role is focused on designing, coding, and 
delivering automation solutions that enhance reliability, scalability, and 
efficiency of cloud operations.  
▪ The role requires strong software engineering skills applied to 
infrastructure, with deep expertise in Terraform, DevOps pipelines, and 
cloud-native automation frameworks. 
▪ The Cloud Automation Engineer will partner with operations, DevOps, 
and architecture teams to build automated, self-healing, and policy
compliant cloud infrastructure, ensuring faster deployments, reduced 
manual effort, and cost optimization. 


Key Responsibilities 
Infrastructure Automation & IaC 
• Build, maintain, and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using 
Terraform and CloudFormation/ARM templates. 
• Develop modular, reusable Terraform code libraries for multi-cloud use 
cases. 
• Automate provisioning, scaling, and configuration of compute, storage, 
and networking. 
• Implement policy-as-code for governance and compliance (e.g., OPA, 
Sentinel). 

Cloud Operations Automation 
• Write automation scripts in Python, Go, PowerShell, or Bash to replace 
manual operational tasks. 
• Implement self-healing mechanisms for incident recovery and proactive 
remediation. 
• Automate monitoring and alerting with cloud-native tools (CloudWatch, 
Azure Monitor, Stackdriver) and observability stacks (Prometheus, 
Grafana). 
• Integrate automation into ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) for zero
touch operations. 


DevOps & CI/CD Enablement 
• Embed infrastructure automation in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub 
Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). 
• Build automated validation and testing frameworks for Terraform and 
cloud configurations. 
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to deliver infrastructure 
pipelines-as-products. 
Cloud-Native & Modern Architectures 
• Automate container orchestration workflows in Kubernetes (AKS, GKE). 
• Develop pipelines for serverless deployments (Azure Functions, GCP 
Functions). 
• Support hybrid environments by integrating on-premise automation 
with cloud platforms.

 
Mandatory Skills: Infrastructure Automation .
