Job Description

Primary Skill: Azure Disaster Recovery and Azure networking

Exp- 7 to 11 yrs

Location PAN India

·                     Design and implement enterprise-scale Disaster Recovery strategies for critical workloads hosted on Azure.

  • Configure and manage Azure Site Recovery (ASR) for replication and failover of:

o        Azure Virtual Machines

    • VMware workloads
    • Hyper-V workloads
    • Physical servers
  • Define and validate:

o        RTO (Recovery Time Objective)

    • RPO (Recovery Point Objective)
    • Business Continuity Plans
    • DR Runbooks
  • Conduct periodic DR drills and failover/failback testing.
  • Develop DR architecture for:

o        Multi-region Azure deployments

    • Active-Passive solutions
    • Active-Active solutions

  • Design backup and recovery solutions using:

o        Azure Backup

    • Recovery Services Vault
    • Azure SQL Backup
    • Storage Account redundancy options
  • Ensure compliance with organizational DR policies and regulatory requirements.

Azure Networking

·                     Design, deploy, and manage Azure networking infrastructure.

  • Implement and troubleshoot:

o        Virtual Networks (VNet)

    • Subnets
    • NSG (Network Security Groups)
    • Route Tables (UDR)
    • Azure Firewall
    • Azure Bastion
    • NAT Gateway
  • Configure Hybrid Connectivity:

o        ExpressRoute

    • Site-to-Site VPN
    • Point-to-Site VPN
  • Implement advanced networking services:

o        Azure Load Balancer

    • Azure Application Gateway
    • Web Application Firewall (WAF)
    • Traffic Manager
    • Front Door
  • Design secure connectivity using:

o        Private Endpoints

    • Private Link
    • Service Endpoints
    • DNS Private Zones
  • Configure and manage Azure DNS and hybrid DNS architecture.
  • Troubleshoot network latency, packet loss, routing, and connectivity issues.
  • Support Landing Zone deployment and network governance initiatives.

As a secondary responsibility, the candidate will support Azure FinOps initiatives, focusing on cost optimization, resource governance, budgeting, and cloud financial management.
