Job Description

Role Summary
L2 Zscaler Engineer responsible for managing, supporting, and troubleshooting Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) services. The role focuses on BAU operations, incident management, and policy administration for secure internet access in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities
•    Provide L2 support for Zscaler ZIA (proxy services)
•    Handle incident, service request, and change management activities
•    Administer and manage Zscaler proxy environment
•    Perform URL filtering (whitelisting/blacklisting)
•    Manage SSL inspection and SSL bypass policies
•    Troubleshoot internet browsing and proxy-related issues
•    Monitor Zscaler logs, alerts, and dashboards
•    Support security incidents related to internet traffic
•    Coordinate with network, firewall, and endpoint teams
•    Maintain SOPs and provide knowledge transfer to L1 engineers

Required Skills
•    Hands-on experience in Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)
•    Strong understanding of web proxy and security concepts
•    Networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS
•    Experience in incident and change management tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
•    Strong troubleshooting and log analysis skills

Desirable Skills
•    Experience with NSS, VZEN, and Zscaler logging
•    Exposure to firewall technologies (Checkpoint, Palo Alto)
•    Experience in proxy migration or transformation projects
