Job Description

Primary Skills: Azure FinOps, 

Exp- 7 to 11 yrs

Location- PAN India

Cloud Cost Management

•     Monitor and analyze Azure spending across subscriptions, resource groups, and business units.

•     Implement FinOps best practices to optimize cloud consumption.

•     Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide optimization recommendations.

•     Analyze resource utilization and eliminate waste across Azure services.

Budgeting & Forecasting

•     Create monthly, quarterly, and annual Azure cost forecasts.

•     Manage Azure budgets and cost alerts.

•     Perform variance analysis between forecasted and actual spend.

•     Present cloud financial insights to IT leadership and finance stakeholders.

Cost Optimization

•     Drive Azure Reserved Instances (RI) and Savings Plan adoption.

•     Optimize Azure Virtual Machines, Managed Disks, Storage Accounts, Databases, and Networking costs.

•     Identify idle, orphaned, oversized, and underutilized resources.

•     Recommend rightsizing strategies based on utilization metrics.

FinOps Governance

•     Establish tagging standards for cost allocation and reporting.

•     Implement showback and chargeback models.

•     Develop cloud financial governance policies and controls.

•     Ensure compliance with organizational cloud spending policies.

Reporting & Dashboards

•     Develop Azure Cost Management and Power BI dashboards.

•     Generate executive-level consumption and optimization reports.

•     Track FinOps KPIs, including:

o     Cost per workload

o     Savings achieved

o     Resource utilization efficiency

o     Forecast accuracy

o     Reserved Instance coverage

Stakeholder Engagement

•     Partner with Finance teams for budgeting and forecasting.

•     Support business units in understanding cloud costs.

 

Secondary Skill: Azure admin-Azure Networking, Disaster Recovery,
