This opportunity is within Wipro’s Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) vertical, specifically in the Banking Domain and Consulting unit. The Consulting Engagement Partner is responsible for driving profitable growth by leveraging both established and emerging capabilities for clients. This role focuses on expanding the consulting portfolio, strengthening C-level relationships, and enabling the growth of other Wipro services. As a strategic leader, you will collaborate with account leaders to shape and execute account-level strategies.

Core Responsibilities

  • Growth Strategy: Develop and implement business growth strategies with the account team. Focus on increasing consulting contributions through differentiated sales, higher billing rates, and improved margins. Identify and open new business opportunities to expand Wipro’s footprint within client organizations.
  • Solutions & Competency: Enhance Wipro’s positioning with C-suite executives by presenting differentiated services and solutions. Drive competency development within the account.
  • Branding: Strengthen Wipro’s market positioning and mindshare among key client stakeholders.
  • People Leadership: Provide strong leadership to consulting teams engaged on named accounts, fostering high performance and collaboration.

Delivery Expertise

  • Program Management: Proven experience managing multi-location consulting projects with distributed teams.
  • Consulting Sales: Track record of differentiated consulting sales, with a strong focus on delivery and operational excellence.
  • Transformation Experience: Experience working on business and technology transformation initiatives across the banking value chain (e.g., cards, payments, lending, retail/digital banking, corporate banking, asset management, investment banking, treasury).
  • Consultative Selling: Skilled in consultative selling and building client business cases for value-based proposals.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $190,000.00  to $265,000.00.

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
