Job Description:

As an SMT Test EPM, you will be responsible for SMT test coverage library generation for all our existing and upcoming new products. This position is a great fit for someone who has prior experience with technical project management working collaboratively with a group of engineers, and is passionate about product’s electrical design architecture, its testing requirements & implementation at factory.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with SMT station DRIs to fetch existing list of test coverages run across different projects and facilitate generation of test library
  • Perform end-to-end coverage analysis to better understand necessity of test coverage and propose areas of optimization.
  • Explore use of internal AIML tools and/or develop new tools to integrate test coverage library to facilitate test SW automation and ease of use.
  • Be the technical expert for understanding, presenting, communicating and documenting system test and its processes.

 

Key Qualifications

  • B.S. EE (or similar) along with 5+ years of project management experience
  • Ability to view & understand electrical schematics and layout, and generating test plans for them
  • Working knowledge of USB 3.2, USB-PD, Display Port, PCIe, I2C, SPI technologies and protocols, and design
  • Good oral & written communication skills - be able to understand complex engineering concepts clearly from both internal and xfunc engineers.
  • Prior experience of Python or similar languages for creating small scripts / tools.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally up-to 10% of the time; estimated 8-10 days per trip
  • Nice to have - Prior experience with bed of nails test fixture and instrument design
Mandatory Skills: VLSI Board Design .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
