Mandatory Experience &  skills:-

  • Responsible for Embedded software development in resource constraint microcontroller/microprocessor based environment
  • Strong in Embedded C/C++ programming skills
  • RTOS system programming and architecture skills
  • Good knowledge of devices drivers, BSP, bootstrap, bootloader SW and HW abstraction layer development.
  • Should possess excellent HW debugging skills using JTAG, oscilloscope and other debug instruments.
  • Very good system debugging and triaging skills
  • Should have participated in end-to-end SW development life cycle
  • Have worked previously worked with any semiconductor industry on SOCs/microcontrollers
  • Familiarity with GIT version control tool for software versioning and release packaging is required
  • Ensure assigned activities are completed within the committed timeline and acceptable quality standards

Additional / ”Nice to have” experience & skills:-

  • Should have prior experience in leading Embedded software / firmware development based on e200 or ARM / Cortex or similar Microcontroller architecture 
  • Experience in automotive SW domain would be desirable
  • Knowledge of automotive cyber security security and other automotive standard like Functional Safety (ISO26262) & Cybersecurity (ISO21434) certification would be an added advantage
  • AUTOSAR MCAL Driver development and Validation experience with any automotive clients
  • Expert in design and architecture in RTOS and system software. 
  • Expert in understanding Cortex-M based SoC architectures or similar MCU architecture with a proven experience in bootloader, Microkernel, control software and device drivers development and integration. 
  • Should have experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams working on bootloaders, kernel development, device drivers integration, validation and verification and RTOS bring-up

Areas of responsibility

Gathering of requirements-Assist in conducting workshops and discussions with client stakeholders to gather business process requirements.

Coding and Configuration-"Develop and deliver code for assigned modules, in alignment with client requirements ensuring proper integration with system components.

Testing and Trial Runs-"Execute testing for assigned modules, validate functionality across required interactions, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.

Implementation-Participate in implementation of software application and its integration with other systems to ensure stability.

Maintain Documentation-Prepare detailed reports and documentation on project specifications, activities, and status, while presenting information using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and clear, well-structured code.

Stakeholder Collaboration-Collaborate with cross functional teams  to understand requirements, support development activities, check system compatibility, and ensure solutions meet expected standards.
