Job Description
Position: GCP IaC Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 3-10 + years of experience with Infrastructure automation tools (Terraform), with a focus on IaC and immutable infrastructure
- 3-10 + years of experience with GCP cloud foundational offerings IAM, VPC, Cloud Logging, Security controls, Storage and Compute
- In-depth understanding of Google Cloud's GKE Enterprise, Serverless, BigData and Data analytics native offering such as Dataproc, Composer, Dataflow, BQ and other technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, and determining the root cause for customer-reported issues, building tools, and faster diagnosis.
- Software development experience in one of the OO programming language: Java, Go and or Python
- Understanding of good cloud architecture to ensure high availability while ensuring the highest level of security and visibility.
- Strong background of Container & Orchestration Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift
- Understanding of Traffic Flow Management, to include Service Mesh concepts, with experience in Istio preferred, as well as how GTM and LTMs manage traffic flows.
- Experience with Logging and Monitoring tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus and OTEL.
- FinOps (cloud) domain knowledge preferred
Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
