Role: Cloud OSS/BSS System Architect (On-site)
 
Role Summary
We are looking for a senior System Architect who can take end‑to‑end OSS/BSS requirements and work closely with technology and product teams to design and implement features across the AT&T Business OSS/BSS landscape. The architect will partner with the Product Architect to execute functionality aligned to the product roadmap.
 
Key Responsibilities
• Architect and design end-to-end OSS/BSS solutions supporting cloud-based telecom offers.
• Work closely with Product Architects and engineering teams to implement roadmap features.
• Provide architectural leadership across Order Management, Provisioning, Service Delivery, Assurance, and Billing systems.
• Translate business and product requirements into scalable system architectures.
• Drive solution consistency, integration patterns, and technical best practices.
 
Required Experience & Skills
• 15+ years of experience as a System Architect in telecom OSS/BSS environments.
• Strong experience with AT&T Business systems or similar Tier‑1 telecoms.
• Deep hands-on exposure to Salesforce + ROME (Order, Provisioning, Service Delivery, Assurance, Billing).
• Proven experience architecting OSS/BSS systems enabling cloud-based telecom offerings (experience does not need to be SaaS-native platforms).
• Strong stakeholder communication and cross‑team collaboration skills.
 
Preferred
• Ex‑AT&T or Tier‑1 North American telecom SME (ex telecpm company emp).
• Background in NOC operations or network deployment domains.

  • Enable Delivery Teams by providing optimal delivery solutions/ frameworks
    • Build and maintain relationships with executives, technical leaders, product owners, peer architects and other stakeholders to become a trusted advisor
    • Collaborate with enterprise architect for translating business strategy to execution
    • Develops and establishes relevant technical, business process and overall support metrics (KPI/SLA) to drive results
    • Bring value in terms of quality in development activities by leveraging cloud based and scalable infrastructure
    • Identify technical, process, structural risks and prepare a risk mitigation plan for all the projects
    • Ensure quality assurance of all the architecture or design decisions and provides technical mitigation support to the delivery teams
    • Recommend tools for reuse, automation for improved productivity and reduced cycle times
    • Leads the development and maintenance of enterprise framework and related artefacts
    • Develops trust and builds effective working relationships through respectful, collaborative engagement across individual product teams
    • Provide architectural oversight of projects; ensure requirements are in alignment with business strategies and business architecture roadmap/framework. 
    • Ensure solutions developed across organization are aligned to enterprise architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services, and meet financial targets (cost and benefits). 
    • Negotiate, manage and coordinate with the client teams to ensure all requirements are met and create an impact of solution proposed
    • Demonstrate thought leadership with strong technical capability in front of the client to win the confidence and act as a trusted advisor

Experience: >10 YEARS .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $200,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
