Job Description
Network Operations & SME Support
- Act as Network SME for enterprise LAN, WAN, Data Center, Cloud, and SD‑WAN environments.
- Proactively analyze and understand existing network architecture and traffic flows.
- Provide L3/L4 support for complex and critical network issues.
- Take ownership of complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and permanent fixes.
- Actively participate in and lead Major Incident (MI) bridges when required.
- Support on‑call rotations, including after‑hours and weekend support as needed.
Incident & Problem Management
- Troubleshoot high‑severity incidents involving routing, switching, SD‑WAN, and cloud connectivity.
- Perform deep packet‑level and protocol‑level analysis (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, overlays).
- Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions.
- Work closely with vendors, ISPs, and internal teams during escalations.
Documentation & Network Understanding
- Build, update, and maintain:
- SMTD (Single‑line / Solution / Service Model Technical Documents)
- Network Topology Diagrams
- High‑Level and Low‑Level Network documentation
- Ensure documentation accurately reflects current‑state and future‑state designs.
- Support audits, reviews, and transitions through accurate technical documentation.
SD‑WAN & Cloud Networking
- Support and troubleshoot SD‑WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, Aruba Silver Peak, Fortinet, Versa, etc.).
- Understand and support cloud networking (AWS / Azure / GCP), including hybrid connectivity.
- Assist in SD‑WAN optimization, policy tuning, QoS, and failover scenarios.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Architects, Operations, Security, and Cloud teams.
- Clearly communicate technical issues and resolutions to stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to L1/L2 engineers during incidents.
- Participate in customer and internal technical calls when required.

Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
