Job Description

Job Title: Network Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable datacenter and cloud network infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure networking, Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls, and automation tools like Ansible and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and manage datacenter and cloud networks with high availability.
  • Configure and maintain firewall infrastructure to safeguard against threats.
  • Administer Azure networking components (VNet, VPN Gateway, NSG, etc.).
  • Optimize Fortinet and Palo Alto firewall performance and security.
  • Drive automation and CI/CD practices across network operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align network strategies with business goals.
  • Provide strategic input on software-defined networking technologies.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in network engineering with expertise in route/switch, firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS.
  • 2+ years in cloud networking (Azure, AWS, Oracle, or IBM).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Certifications & Skills:

  • CCNP (Security, DC, Routing, Switching), Fortinet, PCNSE.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect.
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Ansible) and experience with Panorama, BGP, and VPN tunnels.
Mandatory Skills: Network Data Admin .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
