Job Description: 

Job Role - Principal Network Architect

 

Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Strong expertise in LAN/WAN networking and enterprise network design
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, and Palo Alto firewalls
  • Deep technical knowledge of global routing and switching architectures
  • Expert-level knowledge of dynamic routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and Anycast
  • Technical expertise in SD-WAN, MPLS, VXLAN, cloud networking, and systems interconnectivity
  • Proven experience with VoIP / IP telephony solutions
  • Demonstrated expertise in SIP architecture integration, including both customized and COTS solutions
  • Ability to write, test, and document technical work products, including code, scripts, and processes
  • Experience designing scalable, reliable, and durable systems with proactive mitigation of latency and performance challenges
  • Capability to manage and reduce technical debt within ongoing implementations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write, test, and document technical work products including code, scripts, and processes in line with organizational standards
  • Deliver high‑quality technical solutions and coach team members on technical craftsmanship
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to identify systemic issues and lead execution of corrective actions
  • Design integrated, scalable systems aligned with organizational best practices to enable speed, scale, and reliability
  • Oversee and manage technical debt, driving opportunities for elimination during ongoing implementations
  • Anticipate scaling, latency, and durability challenges and guide teams on mitigation strategies
  • Evaluate technical risks and guide teams toward practical prevention strategies

Experience: 8-10 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
