Sr. Java developer
The role we are looking to fill involves a developer who will be responsible for maintaining product applications. This individual will work closely with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads, and other developers to understand and develop solutions that align with our business requirements. They will also maintain and enhance existing services and applications, troubleshoot and debug complex issues, create detailed project specifications, research and implement new technologies, support coding standards, and collaborate with software architects.
To be successful in this role, the candidate should have at least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
Additionally, 7+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience designing, developing, implementing, Monitoring and Support largescale applications in hosted production environments on prem and in the cloud
Top 3-5 Mandatory Skills and Experience:
Java, Java Spring boot, Azure
Nice to Have Skills and Experience (preferred but not required):
• Spark
• Python
• Microservices
• Database – Oracle/Postgres
• Databricks
• Front-end- Ext JS framework
• Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
Note: Position requires rotational off-hours on-call support
Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
