Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to support process delivery by ensuring daily performance of the Production Specialists, resolve technical escalations and develop technical capability within the Production Specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test strategies to ensure high standards of product quality
  • Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test automation suite for Spend management products and platform across the stack
  • Lead and mentor QA engineers and testers to achieve core business objectives
  • Partner with other members of the engineering team to build scalable and reliable test automation solutions
  • Partner with other members of the engineering team to tackle production issues
  • Establish key quality metrics and help drive effective quality culture
  • Be an owner and a champion of platform and application quality and the customer experience

  • Build people capability to ensure operational excellence and maintain superior customer service levels of the existing account/client
    • Mentor and guide Production Specialists on improving technical knowledge
    • Collate trainings to be conducted as triage to bridge the skill gaps identified through interviews with the Production Specialist 
    • Develop and conduct trainings (Triages) within products for production specialist as per target
    • Inform client about the triages being conducted
    • Undertake product trainings to stay current with product features, changes and updates
    • Enroll in product specific and any other trainings per client requirements/recommendations
    • Identify and document most common problems and recommend appropriate resolutions to the team
    • Update job knowledge by participating in self learning opportunities and maintaining personal networks

Skills

  • 5+ years of demonstrated track record on leading projects as a test automation or backend engineer, preferably standing up mock frameworks for performance and automation testing
  • Expert coding skills in Java, and persistence technology are necessary.
  • Strong knowledge of testing design patterns, available tooling and best practices, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright and more.
  • Experience with Docker, RESTful web services, and asynchronous programming in monolith and microservices settings.
  • Experience with building testing software for and using cloud-based products/services
  • Strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and debugging skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to function in a demanding environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing a strategy around technology areas of test automation, diagnostics, reporting, alerting, auditing, and APMs
  • Expertise in creating schemas and writing efficient SQL queries on a relational database
  • Experience with software monitoring tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, Datadog, Kibana, etc.
  • Experience working offshore in an agile development (Scrum) environment supporting an onshore customer.

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
