Senior Apigee API

Job Description:
- 8+ years of experience with at least 5 years focused on API management and Google Apigee platform (Apigee Edge and/or Apigee Hybrid).
- Apigee Expertise: Hands-on mastery of Apigee Edge and Apigee Hybrid. Deep understanding of Apigee’s core architecture and components – e.g. Edge Management Server, Router, Message Processor, Analytics services, Developer Portal, Cassandra data store, ZooKeeper coordination, etc. Ability to configure and troubleshoot the full Apigee stack, from API proxy design, shared flow development and tracing, to underlying platform services.
- API Security & Networking: Strong knowledge of REST API security standards and protocols. Must be well-versed in OAuth 2.0 (client credentials, authorization code flows), JSON Web Tokens (JWT), API key management, TLS/mTLS encryption, and implementing authentication/authorization policies in Apigee. Experience integrating API gateways with enterprise identity providers (e.g., PingFederate, Okta) for SSO and federated OAuth/JWT validation is highly desirable.
- Akamai & Edge Services: Demonstrated experience working with Akamai CDN.
- Cloud & DevOps Skills: Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure) is required, Apigee Hybrid deployments.
- API & Web Services Development: Solid grasp of RESTful API design principles.
Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
