Job Role: Senior Data Scientist/Analyst

Entrust is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Data Scientist/Analyst to join our Marketing Analytics team. This critical role will be instrumental in transforming our data landscape and elevating our analytical capabilities. Responsibilities

  • As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in analyzing complex data using statistical and machine learning models, providing valuable insights, and driving data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Your initial and most crucial responsibility will be to architect and implement a unified, end-to-end view of the customer journey. This involves:
    • Data Consolidation: Identifying, extracting, transforming, cleansing and integrating data from a multitude of disparate sources, including but not limited to Salesforce, Oracle, various marketing automation platforms, webinar systems, other legacy systems and website analytics.
    • Navigating Complexity: Addressing the inherent complexities of data fragmentation due to multiple acquisitions, including reconciling different system definitions, data structures, and business rules.
    • Holistic Journey Mapping: Developing a comprehensive view of every customer and prospect interaction and touchpoint across all integrated systems.
  • From there, you will lead the charge in advancing our analytics function to the next level by:
    • Developing Advanced Analytics: Implementing and applying advanced analytical techniques, including predictive modeling, to uncover actionable insights and optimize marketing performance.
    • Driving Strategic Insights: Translating complex data into clear, compelling narratives and recommendations that inform marketing strategy and business decisions.
    • Building for the Future: Establishing the foundation for a scalable data analytics infrastructure that can grow with the needs of the business.

  • Skills

    • Analyze complex data using statistical and machine learning models to derive actionable insights
    • Utilize SQL, Python for data analysis, visualization, and working with APIs, Linux OS, databases, big data technologies, and cloud services as well as tools like Tableau
    • Develop innovative solutions for natural language processing and generative modelling tasks using NLP, Generative AI, and LLMs
    • Working knowledge in micro-segmentation and leads discovery, predictive cross-sell models, experience analytics, and unified customer intelligence to drive our marketing and sales strategies.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data science solutions
    • Ensure model robustness, model generalization, accuracy, testability, and efficiency
    • Design and maintain data pipelines and workflows within AWS for optimal performance and scalability
    • Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders reports and visualizations.
    • You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment and are eager to expand your focus beyond marketing data over time to support broader business initiatives

     

    Qualifications

    • A master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • 10+ years of proven experience in developing machine learning models, particularly for time series data within a financial context.
    • Advanced programming skills in SQL, Python.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of AI and LLM technologies, with a track record of developing applications and models.
    • Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Superior communication skills, enabling the clear and concise presentation of complex findings.
    • Extensive experience in AWS for data processing, model training, and deployment.
    • Industry knowledge within Data Security, Issuance and Identity Security is a bonus
