AUDIO TEST ENGINEER L4

Job Title: Audio Test Engineer

Location: Dearborn, MI (Onsite)

Salary $55-100K

Experience on testing process, test management and planning.  Experience in Audio Head unit and Amplifier testing.  Experience in analyzing System Specifications regarding Supplier requirements.  Tools: CANalyzer, CANOe, Audacity, Audio Precision tool, A2B Bus Monitor.  Knowledge of Python and Hands-on experience.  Responsible for analyzing, diagnosing, testing, and calibrating electrical and electronic amplifier units to ensure they meet performance specifications.  Test and evaluate performance of DSP algorithms and audio systems. Perform functional testing on multi-channel amplifiers using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators to verify performance, gain, and frequency responsae. Evaluate sound output to ensure compliance with specifications, checking for distortion, noise, or improper signal routing across all channels. Measuring the amplification factor, signal-to-noise ratio, and clipping points of amplifiers or preamps using specific tools and a controlled  environment to ensure accurate, safe, and repeatable measurements. 

 
Mandatory Skills: Automotive Infotainment Testing .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
