Develop architectural solutions for the new deals/ major change requests in existing deals
- Creates an enterprise-wide architecture that ensures systems are scalable, reliable, and manageable.
- Provide solutioning of RFPâÂÂs received from clients and ensure overall design assurance
- Develop a direction to manage the portfolio of to-be-solutions including systems, shared infrastructure services, applications in order to better match business outcome objectives
- Analyse technology environment, enterprise specifics, client requirements to set a collaboration solution design framework/ architecture
- Provide technical leadership to the design, development and implementation of custom solutions through thoughtful use of modern technology
- Define and understand current state solutions and identify improvements, options & tradeoffs to define target state solutions
- Clearly articulate, document and sell architectural targets, recommendations and reusable patterns and accordingly propose investment roadmaps
- Evaluate and recommend solutions to integrate with overall technology ecosystem
- Works closely with various IT groups to transition tasks, ensure performance and manage issues through to resolution
- Perform detailed documentation (App view, multiple sections & views) of the architectural design and solution mentioning all the artefacts in detail
- Validate the solution/ prototype from technology, cost structure and customer differentiation point of view
- Identify problem areas and perform root cause analysis of architectural design and solutions and provide relevant solutions to the problem
- Collaborating with sales, program/project, consulting teams to reconcile solutions to architecture
- Tracks industry and application trends and relates these to planning current and future IT needs

A Seasoned enterprise cloud architect with a minimum of 20+ years of overall IT experience out of which 8+ years in leading application migration & modernization engagements across multiple clients, preferably on Google Cloud. Must have first-hand experience and understanding of how Cloud based landing zones are created and operated in an enterprise environment having hybrid connectivity to on-premise network, considering best practices for adoption, flexibility, networking, operations, IAM, security, storage, observability and FinOps
Good hands-on experience in using GCP cloud services (IAM, Networking, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL/PostgreSQL, MemoryStore, GKE etc) based on real migration projects
Ability to make critical solution design decisions
Have the ability to do quick hands on to prove an architectural point and evaluate certain design choices irrespective of whether you have the technical domain or not. And even if it involves learning new technology.
Must have a good understanding and experience in Kubernetes platform, cloud-native architecture, SRE and 12-factor application principles.
Have experience in implementing zero-trust / no-trust security architecture in cloud
Has the experience of working in large scale development engagements in a cross-functional teams, involving complex integrations, architecture types etc.
Has the experience of designing, architecting, implementation and operationalizing the large platforms with demonstrated skills for large scale adoption. In other words, must possess platform engineering skills.
Have the developer mindset and executive leadership vision to be able to drive everyone towards the common strategic goals
Have the ability to define and create future state architecture views, define NFRs, identify SLI/SLOs, Integration architecture and cost optimized cloud architecture in accordance with stated enterprise standards, after analyzing current applications architecture, aligning with strategic initiatives.
Have good analytical skills with the ability to create reports, process portfolio level information and provide insights to internal and external leadership on progress, volume of challenges, areas of impact etc…
Have lead different technology / digital transformation initiatives with different clients such as Api first, cloud-first, data-first etc.
Have hands-on experience in programming languages to be able to pick any language and code if needed
Understand the evolving Generative AI and Agentic AI space with assisted / vibe coding abilities with demonstrated ability to create accelerators based on these technological advancements
Be able to establish connections with partner organizations like cloud hyper scalars, practices within Wipro, account leadership teams and take internal innovative solutions to client stakeholders on regular basis
Having Google Cloud, K8s and Generative AI certifications will be added advantage but demonstrating work experience is more important
Soft skills
Have the ability to engage at any level in the client organization hierarchy i.e. from Developer to Sr Executive leadership team.
Be able to create a PoV on any area of our scope of work, within short amount of time with only few iterations of reviews etc.
Have the ability to work in a multi-vendor environment keeping Wipro’s interest always in Mind and without impacting customer deliverables and expectations.
Always have the customers interests in mind and should raise questions, challenge decisions and share reasoning when you have a point to make, irrespective of the stakeholder organization.
Is self-driven and can work without any directions from anyone. Find your own ways of engaging in any workstream by making an impact and driving it with ownership.

Competencies
Experience: >10 YEARS .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $185,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
