Devops Technical Manager

Location: Denver CO

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Own and manage the end-to-end SDLC across multiple teams and products.

 

Design and implement process improvements to enhance agility, quality, and delivery speed.

 

Champion Atlassian tools adoption, customization, and integration for seamless project tracking and documentation.

 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure DevOps pipelines support development and release needs.

 

Drive CI/CD strategy, infrastructure automation, and release management practices.

 

Enforce best practices in code management, branching strategies, testing automation, and deployment.

 

Mentor and manage a team of SDLC engineers, DevOps professionals, or tool admins as needed.

 

Partner with product, QA, and engineering managers to align delivery processes with business goals.

 

Generate SDLC and DevOps performance reports, metrics, and dashboards for leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

 

10+ years of experience in software development or technical project management.

 

3+ years of experience in a leadership or senior management role.

 

Proven expertise in Atlassian tools (JIRA workflows, Confluence templates, Bitbucket/Git integrations).

 

Strong knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

 

Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.

 

In-depth understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

 

Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

 

Strong stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration abilities.

Experience: 8-10 Years .

 

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
