Jira Align target architecture
The Jira Align Architect is responsible for the end‑to‑end architectural design, scalability, and governance of the Jira Align platform across the enterprise. This role defines how Jira Align is structured, integrated, and adopted to enable strategy‑to‑execution alignment at scale, supporting SAFe® and Lean Portfolio Management (LPM).
The Architect partners closely with enterprise architects, transformation leaders, portfolio management, and platform teams to ensure Jira Align is implemented as a strategic system of record, not just an Agile tracking tool.
- Define and own the Jira Align target architecture across Strategy, Portfolio, Program, and Team layers
- Design scalable Jira Align hierarchies (Themes, Epics, Capabilities, Features, Stories) aligned to enterprise operating models
- Establish architectural standards, design principles, and guardrails for Jira Align usage
- Ensure platform scalability across multiple portfolios, ARTs, value streams, and geographies
- Architect enterprise‑level dashboards for:
- Portfolio health and investment mix
- Business outcomes and value realization
- PI objectives and business value delivery
- Dependency, risk, and impediment management
- Ensure metrics align to executive decision‑making, not just team activity
- Enable outcome‑based reporting and OKR tracking
- Serve as the design authority for Jira Align changes and enhancements
- Evaluate new Jira Align features and recommend adoption strategy
- Define roadmap for Jira Align evolution aligned to transformation maturity
- Coach Jira Align Admins and Agile leaders on architectural best practices
Experience: 8-10 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
