DevOps /SRE (Python Scripting)
Role Overview: As a DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong focus on Python scripting, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure. This role requires expertise in automating infrastructure provisioning, deployment processes, and monitoring solutions to ensure performance reliability and operational efficiency
Key Technologies and Tools:
- Cloud Platforms: Extensive experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, IAM, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, and managed Kubernetes services like EKS.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Deep understanding of container technologies such as Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes and Helm charts following GitOps practices for declarative management.
- Infrastructure Automation: Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and configuration management tools such as Ansible to automate deployment and environment configurations.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Expertise in designing and maintaining robust pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring automated build, test, and deployment cycles that enhance delivery speed and quality.
- Monitoring and Observability: Skilled in applying observability platforms such as Splunk and Grafana to create dashboards, alerts, and perform root cause analysis for proactive system management.
- Programming and Scripting: Advanced skills in Python and Shell scripting to automate routine tasks, develop custom tools, and enhance infrastructure management capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation to support rapid software releases and infrastructure scalability.
- Work collaboratively with development and operations teams to improve reliability, scalability, and availability of systems.
- Implement and enhance monitoring strategies for applications and infrastructure to enable proactive incident management and capacity planning.
- Ensure infrastructure security best practices and compliance are met within cloud and deployment workflows.
- Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and capacity tuning to maintain service-level agreements (SLAs) for uptime and performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in DevOps processes, tools, and methodologies with an emphasis on operational excellence.
Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
