Job Description: 

DevOps Python

 

Location - Hyderabad

Expereince - 8 - 10 years

Job Description:

  • 8+ years experience in a Systems Engineering/DevOps role, with senior-level ownership of production infrastructure.
  • Strong hands-on programming/scripting experience in Golang — building CLI tools, automation services, or internal platform tooling.
  • Strong hands-on scripting experience in Python for automation, tooling, and operational scripts.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins (declarative and scripted pipelines) and Groovy for pipeline authoring.
  • Knowledge in supporting EKS and Kubernetes at scale.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
  • Advanced knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Familiarity with logging systems like Splunk.
  • Experience with Datadog is preferred.
  • Strong experience with Git and GitHub, including branching strategies and code review practices.
  • Proven track record resolving large-scale production issues, including leading incident response.
  • Provide on-call support to handle critical issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Groovy, with automation tooling written in Golang and Python.
  • Troubleshoot production issues by reviewing logs, operational metrics, and stack traces to pinpoint root cause and drive resolution; identify learnings to improve development processes and system design.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues during the development cycle and post go-live.
  • Own day-to-day deployments across non-prod, stage, and production environments.
  • Build and maintain internal tooling/services in Golang to improve deployment velocity and reliability.
  • Write automation scripts in Python for operational efficiency and toil reduction.
  • Lead and support release processes for the team.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and drive incident response for critical issues.
