Key Responsibilities

 

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud-native developer platforms and internal engineering tools.
  • Develop self-service capabilities that improve developer productivity and software delivery.
  • Create and maintain Kubernetes-based development environments and platform services.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and modern DevOps practices.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and platform operations using Terraform and Python.
  • Integrate cloud-native services with enterprise engineering and developer toolchains.
  • Improve platform reliability, scalability, and security through automation and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline engineering workflows and reduce operational overhead.
  • Drive adoption of platform engineering best practices and developer experience initiatives.

Must-Have Requirements

 

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience. 
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and containerization using Docker.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD automation.
  • Solid understanding of Linux administration and cloud-native architecture.
  • Experience building developer platforms, internal tools, or engineering automation solutions.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and system integrations.

 

Good-to-Have Skills

 

  • Experience with Coder or GitHub Codespaces.
  • Knowledge of Helm and Kubernetes packaging.
  • Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Understanding of platform engineering and developer portal solutions.
  • Experience supporting large-scale engineering organizations.
