 Role: Domain Leader for SSP:

Mandatory Requirement: Bilingual -Business English and Japanese- N2 and above.

JOB Details:

We are primarily looking for a Domain leader who will act as a SME and technical anchor, driving the planning, design, installation, configuration, integration and verification of Subscriber and Signalling nodes (VNFs/CNFs) involving HLR/HSS/UDM/UDR/AUSF/STP/DSC/DRA/DEA ensuring they meet the 3GPP standards and operational KPIs. Candidate having prior exp. in technically managing end to end delivery of deployment and integration of Subscriber and Signalling nodes on public/private cloud would be preferred.

Skills:

• Deep expertise and experience in deployment of SSP VNFs/CNFs on to telco cloud infra based on OpenStack and Kubernetes.
• Deep knowledge of 3GPP SDM architecture, Network functions, Interfaces, Protocols (SS7/Diameter/HTTP2) and Call flows for registration/authentication/authorization.
• Proficient in automation of VNF/CNF deployment and testing using Python/Ansible with a Testing framework
• Expert in deploying, configuring, upgrading, integration and testing of SSP VNFs/CNFs
• Proven experience working with deployment of Major NEPs SSP VNFs/CNFs
• Expert capability in troubleshooting /diagnosing issues in deployment and integration of SSP VNFs/CNFs
• Knowledge of networking concepts including IP/MPLS, VLANs, routing protocols, and load balancers will be an added advantage
• Desirable to have prior technical management experience in SSP deployment and integration projects
• Should possess excellent communication skills, can manage end customer and all stakeholders.

SSP Domain lead- Technical Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, deployment, configuration, integration and verification of SSP VNFs/CNFs on RedHat OpenStack/OpenShift platform.
• Lead the creation of HLD, LLD documents for SSP node deployment and testing, ensuring they meet the customer’s functional and performance requirements.
• Implement automation frameworks in Python/Ansible for deployment and testing of SSP VNFs/CNFs to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Develop, review, and approve MOPs for system upgrades, patches, and feature implementation
• Resolve technical issues, performing troubleshooting, analyzing logs, and resolving interoperability challenges.
• Optimize packet core node capacity based on traffic trends and project future needs.

SSP Domain lead- Project Responsibilities

• Responsible for all Delivery KPIs – On-time and Quality KPIs, domain specific Project escalations received from the vendor.
• Responsible for achieving 95% Utilisation (Billing) of the resources within the domain - Balances the resource demand across the regions – Japan, Taiwan, India
• Proactively works with Vendor Stream Managers / BP Power BI and understands and plans the upcoming quarter demand
• Identifies the Innovation/Automation Opportunities by working with the Wipro Domain Architects, plans and tracks the effort of Optimization efforts using GenAI Tools/Techniques.
• Works with Program Leader for meeting the Remotization / Offshoring targets for the domain.
• Creates & owns the competency development (CoDe) strategy for the domain.
• Responsible for timely WPs allocations / Invoicing Approvals from Vendor Stream Managers/TDLs.
• Drive weekly Governance with Vendor Stream Managers for tracking /achieving critical Customer Delivery milestones.
• This is purely a customer facing role and calls for need-based travel to meet Vendor Leaders.
