Job Description

We are looking for an experienced ETL Ab Initio Developer to design, develop and optimise enterprise data-processing solutions. You will work extensively with Ab Initio graphs, parameter sets and plans, delivering high-quality data transformations and performance improvements within a product-aligned squad.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain Ab Initio graphs and data workflows.
  • Build and manage parameter sets and execution plans.
  • Develop reliable, scalable data-transformation solutions.
  • Diagnose performance issues and optimise batch processing.
  • Support build, run and continuous-improvement activities.
  • Embed quality, security, resilience and observability into solutions.
  • Contribute to incident resolution, root-cause analysis and service improvement.
  • Maintain technical documentation, runbooks and knowledge articles.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, CI/CD and automated testing.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive hands-on experience within enterprise delivery or production-support environments.
  • Strong expertise in Ab Initio graphs, parameter sets and plans.
  • Proven data-transformation and performance-tuning skills.
  • Awareness of GCP or cloud-native technologies.
  • Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing and secure engineering.
  • Strong communication and collaboration across distributed teams.
