Job Description:

Job Description

As an Applied AI Leader on this team, you will sit at the intersection of strategy and commercial growth — advising CxOs on where AI can create real business value, shaping transformation roadmaps, and expanding the advisory group's footprint across marquee accounts in partnership with Account Executives and their teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, developing a deep understanding of each organization's business priorities, data estate, and AI maturity, and translating that into pragmatic AI and data strategies, operating models, and roadmaps
  • Bring a clear point of view. Clients look to us for conviction — you'll make firm, well-reasoned recommendations informed by industry and applied AI expertise, not a catalogue of possibilities
  • Carry accountability for growth, with a revenue target spanning the full pursuit lifecycle — from identifying and originating opportunities in Tier 1 accounts through to close
  • Shape engagements with clients who can become flagship references in their industries, turning early wins into repeatable, scalable success stories for the advisory group
  • Explore emerging possibilities with clients — co-innovating on the art of the possible while being candid about feasibility, responsible AI considerations, and realistic timelines to value
  • Build market presence: author points of view, craft proposals, business cases, and executive-level material, and represent Wipro at industry forums and client events
  • Work hand-in-hand with data and AI architects, delivery and engineering teams, industry practices, marketing, legal, and ecosystem partners to launch new advisory offerings and feed client insight back into Wipro's AI and data roadmap

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years across technology consulting, advisory, or enterprise solutioning, with substantial depth in AI, data, and analytics
  • A record of owning and expanding relationships within named, complex enterprise accounts — including growing engagements well beyond their original scope by opening up new business units, geographies, and use cases
  • Comfort operating independently at the most senior levels of a client organization — building relationships with CDOs, CIOs, CTOs, and business unit leaders, and leading executive conversations without needing senior air cover
  • Fluency in today's AI and data landscape — generative and agentic AI, foundation models, MLOps/LLMOps, data platforms, and governance — paired with the judgment to distinguish what's enterprise-ready from what's still hype
  • Experience steering long, multi-stakeholder pursuit cycles that involve technical evaluations, proofs of concept, and enterprise procurement — including constructing business cases anchored in the client's own numbers and holding firm on commercial terms
  • The presence to be equally credible in a room of data scientists and a boardroom of executives
  • An authentic enthusiasm for AI and a commitment to Wipro's approach to responsible, secure, and value-led adoption

Desired Skills:

  • Hands-on grounding in data science, ML engineering, or AI product development that earns trust with technical stakeholders
  • Advisory or delivery experience in one or more of Wipro's priority industries — for example banking and financial services, healthcare, energy, manufacturing, consumer, or technology — with real fluency in how those businesses run and measure success
  • Having been an early leader in a new practice or segment, building the go-to-market motion from the ground up rather than inheriting one
  • An established network across hyperscalers, foundation model providers, and the wider AI ecosystem

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $210,000.00  to $280,000.00.

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.

Applicants are advised that employment in some roles may be conditioned on successful completion of a post-offer drug screening, subject to applicable state law.
