Overview
This career opportunity is a Partner level in our telecom consulting practice with a focus on consulting and business development within a single or multiple clients. In the role of Client Consulting Partner you will lead growth of the consulting business across strategic account(s) by leveraging both; existing & emerging capabilities, in addition to creating new strategic growth areas to deliver significant profitable growth for the accounts and consulting globally.
The Client Consulting Partner is expected to build C-level relationships and leverage strategic partnerships as relevant for business growth strategy, in collaboration with the Global Account Executives and other leaders globally.
Responsibilities
• Growth: Work with the leadership team to define a sound business growth strategy for designated strategic account(s). Ensure the consulting business opens new business opportunities and expands Wipro’s client positioning within the account(s) you represent.
• Relationships: You will bring deep expertise and strong industry connections to develop the consulting and advisory business.
• Solutions: Identifying & defining differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within designated strategic clients.
• Customer Centricity: Delivering customer value as a central theme across all activities. Ensuring Wipro is delivering as a partner and aligned to client/customer value and strategic goals.
• Branding: Leverage the above to help create strong Wipro Market Positioning and increasing Wipro’s mindshare.

Ability to construct presentation slides that are effective in conveying the intended message and visually pleasing to a high level of standard. Additionally, candidate needs to have the ability to present the information effectively to the audience.
Outstanding leadership, communication, relationship building and networking skills on the client side, ecosystem partners and internal organization.
Successful in generating consulting business from new and existing accounts and have the capability to drive and lead customer relationships into multimillion-dollar engagements.
Delivery and program expertise with experience in handling multi shore consulting projects with distributed teams delivering sustainable customer value.
Know-how to comprehend complex scenarios, propose effective implementation plans & solutions in tackling challenges.

JobSummary
The role holder will define & support driving the domain and process consulting capability of the Education sector globally. The role holder will also define differentiated solutions, help and enable opening of new engagements and build the Wipro’s domain services & consulting business across the industry sector.

Responsibilities
Core responsibilities will include:
- Growth & Margins: Defining a sound business growth strategy built on domain & process consulting strengths. Focus on growing the domain competency to 10% of unit strength with higher billing rates and margins. Help in creating new business opportunities & New business wins (Revenue and Order Book)
- Practice Management: Build, mentor and manage a diverse team of geographically distributed Education consulting professionals across different experience levels, including their goals & objectives, mentoring, career planning etc. apart from project level billing, utilizations and allocations
- Solutions: Identifying & defining differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within the Education industry
- Competency: Defining & supporting a strong competency/capability-building strategy. Own and manage an Academy as the one-stop enabling environment for aspiring internal and lateral consultants
- Partnerships: Nurture key ecosystem partnerships in key focus areas based on product evaluation/due diligence with the objective of building knowledge and networks e.g. Trade bodies, practitioner forums, industry networks etc. Explore & develop Wipro specific layer/extensions to the core partner offering.
- Branding: Creating a strong Wipro Market Positioning - increasing Wipro’s mindshare in the industry ecosystem (product companies, analysts and influencers) via thought leadership.

Qualifications Required
- 15+ years of industry experience with the past 5 years being in a consulting leadership position, MBA from a premier institute is a plus
- Excellent articulation skills and strong executive presence is a must.
- Exposure to IT stack specifically for Education vertical
- Functional expertise in Education specific core processes
- Demonstrated experience of working with Education industry clientele
- Digital technology exposure.
- Experience in one or more of sectors such as New age companies/platforms, Publishing, Advertising, Broadcast and Education.
- Experience or strong exposure to software lifecycles including defining downstream from a consulting engagement
- Ownership in Solution incubation and IP-creation – preferably in the Education sector.
- A good mix of experience working in operations and enterprise processes of a technology company
- Good knowledge of the international markets and demand including multiple engagements across geographies
- Experience in consultative selling and creating client business case for value based pitches
