Job Title: Partner – Utilities Consulting (EAM Focused)

This Partner-level career opportunity is within Wipro’s Utilities Consulting Business and reports into the (either Regional Partners or Senior Partner) of Utilities Domain & Consulting. The successful candidate will lead consulting growth in multiple areas of utility operations across multiple commodities including: Generation and/or Gas Storage, Gas and Electric Transmission, Gas and Electric Distribution, Battery Storage, Electric and/or NG Transportation, Customer Services, and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM). This individual will own go-to-market strategy, solution development, delivery leadership, and thought leadership across a portfolio of strategic clients.

Role Summary
The Partner will focus on growing consulting services within electric and gas utility organizations, including:
•    Generation and Storage Strategies: Electric Generation, Grid Scale Battery Storage, Natural Gas High Pressure Storage
•    Regulatory Compliance: Federal, state, and local readiness; DER aggregation, natural event (storm/wildfire) mitigation, and policy-aligned innovation
•    Grid Modernization: ADMS, OMS, DERMS, SCADA, IT/OT convergence, and AI-powered automation
•    Customer Experience Transformation: Energy Efficiency, Customer Satisfaction and Insights, advanced metering, demand flexibility, usage transparency, and billing
•    Enterprise Asset Management (EAM): Lifecycle optimization, mobile field enablement, predictive maintenance, reliability planning, asset data analytics, and asset investment planning
You will collaborate across Wipro business units to position Wipro as a trusted advisor and transformation leader.

Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy
•    Define and execute a consulting growth plan focused on strategic utility accounts and/or specific areas of competency and/or expertise.
•    Develop AI-powered, compliance-focused, EAM-focused, and sustainability-aligned offerings.
•    Enable expansion in key identified opportunity areas.
Client and Market Relationships
•    Build C-Suite level relationships with utility leaders, regulators, and ecosystem partners.
•    Partner with account and delivery leads to expand Wipro’s footprint in key engagements.
•    Develop client intimacy that translates to repeat business and innovation partnerships.
Solution Development
•    Co-create and refine offerings in:
o    AI-driven grid intelligence & operations
o    DER planning & orchestration
o    Utility regulatory advisory services
o    Next-gen customer transformation solutions
o    EAM modernization, mobility platforms, and asset analytics
Delivery Oversight
•    Lead consulting engagements, ensuring strategic alignment and business value delivery.
•    Drive successful execution and transformation outcomes across onshore/offshore teams.
•    Guide clients through large-scale change journeys in grid, CX, and asset modernization, with a strong emphasis on EAM.
Thought Leadership
•    Shape industry perspectives through whitepapers, blogs, webinars, and speaking engagements.
•    Develop point-of-view content aligned with energy transition, EAM, and regulatory shifts.
•    Build internal IP and frameworks to differentiate Wipro in strategic pursuits.

Skills and Experience
Sales & Delivery Expertise
•    Proven success generating multimillion-dollar consulting engagements.
•    Track record of growing new business through strategic planning and execution.
•    Experience delivering utility consulting programs (grid, regulatory, CX, EAM, or asset-led).
Transformation Leadership
•    Strong understanding of utility operating models, transformation triggers, compliance, and EAM best practices.
•    Comfort working with cross-functional teams (IT/OT, regulatory, CX, asset ops, EAM).
•    Ability to deconstruct ambiguous problems and shape implementation pathways.
Domain Depth
•    Deep understanding of electric and gas utility operations, including generation, transmission, and distribution
•    Demonstrated expertise in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions, processes, and best practices within the utility sector
•    Hands-on experience with EAM systems such as IBM Maximo, SAP EAM, Oracle Utilities, or similar platforms
•    Experience leading or advising on asset lifecycle optimization, predictive maintenance, reliability planning, and asset data analytics
•    Familiarity with mobile field enablement, asset investment planning, and digital transformation of asset management functions
•    Ability to tailor EAM strategies to regulatory, operational, and business objectives of utility clients
•    Proven ability to integrate EAM with broader grid modernization, IT/OT convergence, and customer experience initiatives

Preferred Qualifications
•    15+ years of experience working with electric and/or gas utilities, with 5+ years in a leadership or partner-level consulting role
•    Experience working with utility regulators or system vendors
•    Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS Eng, MPP) strongly preferred
•    Strong understanding of utility modernization mandates, EAM systems, and policy environments

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $190,000.00  to $265,000.00. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options
