Job Description: 

Role Details

The candidate will work with the Head of Internal Communication, under the direction of the Global HR Head, to drive communication efforts for Wipro Engineering Global Business Line (GBL). The role requires executing the communications strategy, developing and sustaining campaigns, and creating high‑impact short‑form and long‑form content across platforms. A critical part of this role is leveraging AI‑powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot and AI capabilities within Canva and Adobe to accelerate content creation, improve quality and consistency, enhance design productivity, and enable data‑driven communication decisions. The candidate will use a mix of human judgment and AI assistance to deliver timely, relevant, and engaging communications aligned with brand guidelines and organisational priorities, while continuously evolving communication approaches to meet changing business needs.

Key Resposibilities

  • Content ideation and development: Ideate and create communication campaigns to cascade the key messages. Develop short-form and long-form content including articles, leadership announcements, technical blogs, newsletters, employee and videos, combining strong storytelling skills.
  • Design: Leverage AI capabilities within Canva, Adobe and PowerPoint etc to rapidly design, adapt, and scale visual assets for announcements, people process updates, townhalls, and engagement initiatives.
  • Intranet and community engagement: Increase adoption of Wipro’s Intranet and engineering community across the business. This can include creating content teams, reviewing submissions periodically, scaling existing campaigns, while bringing new ideas to the table.
  • Dissemination and monitoring: Use workplace experience tools like Poppulo to efficiently manage content dissemination. Measure the effectiveness of communications campaign, plans, themes, and the larger strategy by leveraging the data and insights from the platform.
  • Continuous improvement: Experiment with and adopt AI tools like CoPilot and agents within Canva and Adobe to improve communication workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance the overall employee communication experience.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Work closely with different teams within and outside the GBL to execute on the expectations listed above. Become an advisor to the leadership team in all matters related to communication and partner employees to ensure effective communication within Wipro.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have 5-7 years of relevant internal communication experience working with a large and matrixed organisation.
  • Exceptional storytelling skills and ability to capture the target audience’s imagination through design and the written word.
  • Experience working on design tools like Canva, Adobe, PowerPoint etc, to create design collaterals for various campaigns.
  • Strong listening skills with an ability to assess employee feedback and pivot accordingly.
  • Able to juggle multiple assignments and work with in-person as well as remote teams seamlessly.
  • Has a strategic bent of mind to influence long-term success of the communications strategy.
  • Demonstrate strong execution intent and project management skills.
