Functional – SCM (Supply Chain Management) Consultant

Join Wipro Technologies as a Functional Consultant specializing in Supply Chain Management within major manufacturing modules. This role involves in-depth expertise in SCM domains, focusing primarily on Production Control, Master Planning, and Advanced Warehouse Management. You will be instrumental in driving efficient supply chain processes by leveraging your knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Dynamics AX 2012 R3.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert functional consultation on Dynamics 365 SCM, tailoring solutions to enhance manufacturing supply chain operations.
  • Deploy end-to-end project implementation strategies, overseeing various stages of the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to analyze, design, and optimize processes related to inventory management, purchase and sales processes, warehouse management, transfer orders, and master planning.
  • Configure core components such as products, items, and Bills of Materials (BOM) to meet the specific manufacturing and supply chain requirements.
  • Support change management and training initiatives to enable seamless adoption of SCM solutions across business units.
  • Identify and address potential risks and bottlenecks within the supply chain system, recommending practical enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain thorough technical and functional documentation of solutions and system configurations.

Required Expertise:

  • Deep product knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Dynamics AX 2012 R3 with a focus on supply chain functionalities.
  • Strong SCM domain expertise within the manufacturing sector, emphasizing areas like inventory management, procurement, sales, warehouse management, and master planning.
  • Proven hands-on experience in configuration and implementation of manufacturing and supply chain modules, including product, item, and BOM setup.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver complex SCM projects successfully, understanding full project lifecycle phases.
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into effective SCM system solutions.

  • Demonstrated expertise in applying SCM concepts to optimize production control and master planning processes.
  • Familiarity with advanced warehouse management and transfer order processes in a manufacturing context.
